The International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI) was established in 1961 when a handful of instructors got together to talk about how they could improve firefighter safety.  Over the next five decades the ISFSI has contributed to the fire service through education and support of fire instructors everywhere. The ISFSI leads fire and EMS instructors in their efforts to reduce firefighter fatalities and injuries, increase firefighter safety, and improve the profession through education and training.

Northern H.E.A.T., Hands-on Education Awareness Training. Our yearly fire conference hosted by the Peace Regional Fire Chiefs Association (PRFC). The PRFC is comprised of Chief Officers from Northwest Alberta. Our goal is to bring cutting edge firefighting training and speakers to our region. The conference has evolved over 20 years to become Northern H.E.A.T.. Our intent is to give you training that will assist you to return home to your families after your service to the community. Also it reminds everyone to take the training back to your home department and share it.
